Your journey begins in a private raft, guided by an expert as you wind through gentle stretches of the river, avoiding major rapids and splashing through tranquil waters. This peaceful trip offers breathtaking views of Montana’s mountains, lush meadows, and diverse wildlife, such as osprey, deer, elk, bison, and possibly an eagle!

Know Before You Go

Please arrive at our office 30 minutes in advance to fill out paperwork and get your rafting gear.

Provided to and from the river.

  • What to Wear

We recommend river sandals, athletic clothing, fleece, and synthetic/wool socks (Avoid denim and cotton). Lifejackets are always provided. Learn more about what to wear on a float trip.

Scenic Float FAQs

Scenic float trips are suitable for all ages and skill levels. Safety instructions will be provided before departure, and you are welcome to ask questions at any time. We want you to feel safe and comfortable.
All major rapids are avoided, ensuring a calm trip as you splash through mild Class I rapids that are typically less than 1 foot high.
Yes, reservations are required to guarantee a spot on a specific date or time—walk-ins are only accepted if there’s availability. We recommend booking as early as possible—either online or by calling us directly.
Please check in 30 minutes before your trip at the main office located at: 212 W Park St (inside Paradise Adventure Company building), Gardiner, MT 59030 Here, you will sign waivers, receive gear, and meet your guide.
We recommend bringing a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, waterproof camera, and water bottle.
From May to June, plan for the water to be around 45–50°F, with warmer temperatures when summer progresses.
Yes, transportation to and from the river is included. However, transportation to check-in points, such as the office, shop, or corrals, is not included.
