FAQ: Horsback Riding

Children ages 7 and up on the 1 and 2 hour rides. Ages 8 and up on the Half and Full Day Rides. If your child is an advanced/experienced rider, the Wrangler may consider 7 and up. Please call us with questions. There is no weight limit and people with disabilities are more than welcome to ride with us!
For Guests who have reserved online OR given us a credit card over the phone you may go directly to Hells A Roarin' Outfitters. Please be at The Hells A Roarin' Outfitters Ranch, (164 Crevice Rd. Gardiner, MT) 30 minutes prior to your ride. You may check in under your name and please tell The Wrangler you reserved with Paradise Adventure Company. If you would like to pay in cash, please check in at Paradise Adventure Company, 212 W. Park St. in Gardiner), one hour before your scheduled ride. Horseback Rides must be reserved to ensure there will be a horse waiting for you. Horses are limited on rides so be sure to call us a or reserve online as soon as you know your desired ride date. There is no weight limit and all abilities are welcome. If you any questions or concerns, please call us. *Please check-in at Hell's-A-Roarin' Outfitters 30 minutes before your scheduled start time at 164 Crevice Road, Gardiner, Montana.
*** PLEASE NOTE: THE CORRALS ARE A 30 MINUTE DRIVE FROM THE TOWN OF GARDINER. Please be aware this is a gravel road. There is RV parking available at the Wranglers.
Long pants and closed toed shoes are required. You will be riding at a higher elevation and through the wilderness so we do recommend taking a light jacket or sweatshirt with you. Each saddle has a small saddle bag for a water bottle, small camera or your jacket. Do not wear fanny packs or a large camera on your body, you could hurt yourself if you fell off the horse and onto one of these items. The Horseback Rides do go in the rain unless the Wranglers deem the trails are unsafe. You will need to bring your own rain gear, the ranch does not supply clothing of any type. If you have concerns about bugs, you must put your bug spray before you leave for your ride or at your car. Do not spray bug spray around the horses.
Our Delicious Cowboy Cookout Menu may include Steak and Chicken on the Grill, Baked Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, Green Salad/Side Salad, Hot Biscuits, Homemade Dessert, Ice Tea and Lemonade.  Please note menu options vary.  Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages.  If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know 24 hours ahead of your reservation.
