When it comes to fly fishing, Yellowstone National Park has the resources that make for one unforgettable experience. With around 2,500 miles of water running through Yellowstone’s variety of unique landscapes, there is plenty to offer for every skill level.
Throughout your trip, your guide will cover all the basics including casting, rigging, reading water, and fly selection; all the things you need to know to get out and be more successful on your own. Not interested in all the jargon and just want to to see the park with a shot at some fish? That’s fine too, let us do the work.
Beginners have the opportunity to learn on smaller, slower rivers. This allows the client(s) and their guide to focus on different techniques with a good opportunity of finding some eager trout. The more experienced anglers will have a few more options to fish some of Yellowstone’s most famous rivers. Being able to skip over some of the basics allows us the time to get further off the beaten path and back to some of our guides’ favorite fishing holes. Our knowledgeable guides will have some tips and “tricks” that even the most seasoned fly fisherman can benefit from.
Our experienced guides will pick you up at the raft office and take you into the park for a full day of fishing and instruction. Rods, flies, and lunch are included. We offer rental waders for $20 and boots for $10, keep in mind you may not need to rent these items during the warmer summer months.
