Yellowstone River RaftingBig, beautiful and free-flowing, the Yellowstone River rolls along the north boundary of Yellowstone National Park. It is a spectacular way to see to the area and connect with your family and friends!
We love whitewater and want you to love it too!
|"This was our second trip with this company and we will definitely be back and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in rafting! This was an awesome experience for my whole family on both trips. The guides and staff are phenomenal!!!"|
All trips begin at our office where our friendly staff will check you in, answer any questions you may have, and help you get geared up. A short drive will take you to the river access site right at the Northern Boundary of Yellowstone, where the Gardner River joins the Yellowstone River. Your guide will give you a brief river orientation and paddling instruction before you hit the river and all the fun that awaits!
Half Day Yellowstone WhitewaterOur experienced guides will show you fun and excitement on this outstanding 8 mile, Class II-III white water stretch of the Yellowstone. This is a perfect shorter trip for your family at approximately 2 hours on the water and a 3-hour round trip (water level dependent).
The Half Day Trip:
We start off immediately with whitewater action hitting class II-III rapids with names like:
"Wake Up", "Pumphouse", "Bridge Rapids", "Maneater", "Julia's waves", "Locher's", "Picketts", "Rock Garden", "Queen of the Waters" , "Airport rapids", and "Sleeping Giant".
Pristine views of Mount Sepulcher and Electric Peak will captivate you as you float along Yellowstone's northern boundary. Osprey and Bald Eagles may make an appearance overhead. And you will have the opportunity to personally test the waters in "swimmers rapid".
You'll witness geothermal phenomenon at La Duke Hot Springs. "Preacher's, Brogans, and Last Chance Rapids" will conclude the half day trip just upstream of Corwin Springs.
From the takeout a driver will bring you back to our office where you can change into dry clothes and check out photos of yourself, friends, and family braving the rapids. Our office is located downtown near many fine restaurants and local gift shops.

|I just want to thank you folks for contributing to one of the best days of my life. You instilled the river bug in my ten year old son, and he just wants to know when we can do it again. He said it was way more fun than any water park. Thanks again, "|
